warning, my thoughts are all over the place.
why is it that most of my friends that should have kids – don’t? and why is it that people who have kids – shouldn’t?
all my homies that graduated from high school and/or have their degrees, c’mon hear me out, let’s have a heart to heart, POP OUT SOME BABIES ALREADY! i’m scared for the future. have you watched the movie, “idiocracy”? yea. scary.
i guess the reason i’m bringing parenting up is when i hear coworkers, classmates and acquaintances that have kids talk about partying, dating and getting fucked up. it’s not a good look. yes you are entitled to having a good time but make sure you take the time to do/see/eat things with your kids. take them on a weekend getaway (even if it’s in your own city!)… if you have money to put yourself up in a hotel maybe you should do that one day with them too? if you don’t have money, there’s a lot of FREE things to do!!! give them exposure, teach them about other cultures… ask them what they’d like to do – listen and you might be surprised!!! help mold them into better little people. if you think that giving them the best clothes, toys or gadgets is the answer, you got it all wrong. and quit lying to yourself, you are doing more for yourself than you are for your kid(s). just cause you take them to school and feed them doesn’t mean shit either, that’s your job… now take it to another level.
