twitter is insane. it reminds me of AOL 3.0 days when aol chatting was popular. most of the people i follow are longtime internet friends, porn stars, regular & reality show celebs… some celebs i’ve seen in a completely better light and some so-called celebs need to learn to shut the fuck up.
twitter has also proven to be a goldmine for me. it’s important to follow companies too. a few months back i won an obey x obama shirt and stickers from @thegiantpeach, got an autographed photo from porn star @enterbelladonna and just last week, i won $25 in vouchers from @ElPolloLocoInc ! and because friends RT (retweet) i got a coupon for a free candy bar from mars.
back to what i was saying about celebrities on twitter. the biggest celebrity FAIL is @officialTila : i used to think she annoyed just me with her ridiculousness but i kept seeing other people i follow talk shit about her too. she is so fucking full of herself. i get that she does stuff for charities but how many times do you have to pat yourself on the fucking back. bitch please. and while i could give a rat’s ass about @PerezHilton - she sure seems like she’s obsessed with him. every chance she gets to talk shit about him she’s on it, like some crazy hoodrat radar… when that shit popped off about him and will.i.am she was all over it, same with michael jackson. do us a favor and take a hiatus from twitter.

while following celebrities is sometimes awful and turns your brain into mush, there are some awesome times to be had like live free chats. i’ve watched dj muggs of cypress hill/soul assassins do a live set, ice-t talk about law & order svu, new stuff he’s been working on and show off his teen son who he affectionately calls lil’ iceberg AND just today, raekwon of the wu tang clan talked about having to push back only built for cuban links 2 to september 8th because of sample issues.

it’s no secret that i can’t stand octomom and everything she stands for. i knew there was a chance i’d run into her somewhere, sometime since i live about 10 minutes from her.
so yesterday after spending a couple hours at the la habra children’s museum, we chose to treat the kid to mcdonald’s. while we were sitting there i noticed a girl that looked like the little girl in the movie, “the happening” and mentioned it to C, he said nah but the old lady with her looks familiar - that he’s seen her while we were out shopping before and we continued bullshitting. then an old guy passes me that i think i’ve seen in some movies as a taxi driver and told C again. he goes to refill he drink and comes back and whispers to me, “that’s nadya’s parents”, i say, “NADYA WHO?” and he said some shit like “octomom” and i was like, “NO SHIT it is them!!!”
i get up to refill our drink but really wanna get a better look.. they are both there with 2 of octomom’s kids, i notice her dad looks so sad and is wearing beat up shoes. i start feeling sad and decide not to behave like paparazzi and let them enjoy their lunch. the kids look good, i wouldn’t say happy but definitely wearing better clothes than when octomom initially got thrown into the limelight. they oddly seemed more behaved with the grandparents than when i’ve seen them on tv. when we get up to leave i look around for octomom (and more kids) in the play area but she wasn’t in sight, bummer. when we get outside, we see grandpa smoking a cigarette by the dumpster area and i comment to C that instead of shelling out crazy money on shit for herself she should give her dad $40 to buy some new shoes.
i guess what i’m saying is..all that disgust i feel for her is just meant for her dumbass and nothing towards the kids. they are just innocent little bystanders… like these kids in WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE A KID?!?!?! lol
parents - your kids are better than that, give them that respect fuckers.
p.s.
every 1st saturday of the month is FREE admission at the la habra children's museum
thanks to target!

notice the playboy ad up there? that’s right, playboy gave your homie here a chance! i signed up for linkshare and applied for certain shops that would appeal to you readers. vans, karmaloop, drugstore & frederick’s and guess what? i got rejected!!! can you believe that shit? lol the most popular reason given was: inappropriate material on site! HAHA like i said, i handpicked those companies because i thought they would appeal to their audiences as well. the stunner was karmaloop. oh well, i ain’t changing my site for ANYONE!
i promise i won’t bomb the site with crazy ads! just trying to find an alternative to put some extra chips into my pocket!
THANKS to ericaduh.com for hosting my site!!!!!!!!!

for the most part i LOVE working concerts. i guess the technicals are a big part of it. the venue changes the rules for the night, i like watching the set up and breakdown, checking out & trippin’ out on the tour rider, scoping out the tour passes and of course, the excitement of catching THEE star(s) of the night and other random star gazing.
britney spears was no exception. even though i don’t care for her music, i was just as excited (maybe even more) to work the 2 nights she came into town.
my observations:
- our alcohol rules were strict, ID EVERYONE. i made sure all my cashiers and bartenders understood this. but this didn’t stop rabid underage drinkers from trying. it also didn’t stop old perves from trying to buy young ones drinks. we did evict several girls, we don’t fuck around.
- the mix of fans was funny, cute and questionable. lots of blondes, gays, young chicks and OLD people!
- lots of people dressed up. i honestly thought some were part of the show LMAO
- there were a few catfights but the ones i was amused with were the gay boys pissing off older women. i had one lady who just kept complaining to me about a couple of gay guys. she made it a point to say they were gay too lol
- most of the 2 nights were spent observing the crowd and let me just say that a kindergarten class has a higher IQ than most of the blondes in attendance. i could not believe some of the questions asked and some of the convos overheard.
- the stage set up & environment was fabulous. the pussycat dolls were awesome. the circus acts during intermission were cool. britney lipsynchs, oh well!
- britney brought in her own popcorn boxes & soda cups so that was pretty cool. we didn’t have lids so we couldn’t serve them from our stands but i did see them at her souvenir stands for like $2. they also had masks ($5) and other assorted stuff for cheap.
my sis called me saying she read that kim & khloe kardashian posted on twitter that they pulled up to my work so i ran downstairs hoping to see them and i had to head to the warehouse anyways so when i was leaving i did in fact run into them. it was so funny. just giving an example at how powerful (& scary) twitter can be!
